Remarks
- This is a regular group tour, but if requested at cost can be provided as a private tour.
- The order of the tour itinerary may vary in order to avoid congestion.
- Exact pickup time will be given at the time of booking.
- You are kindly requested to present yourself at the pickup point 15 minutes prior the pre-advised pickup time.
- Comfortable shoes and a hat is recommended as shade is limited in summer time.
- If there is no direct flight between Izmir and Cappadocia on your tour date, we will book a connected flight to fly to Cappadocia.
6-Day Gallipoli, Troy, Ephesus, Pamukkale and Cappadocia Tours from Istanbul
Day 1 – Istanbul to Gallipoli Tour
06:00 – 07:15: Hotel pick-up from various regions (Taksim, Sultanahmet, Ataturk Airport area).
08:30: Stop for breakfast in a small restaurant (not included) and personal needs.
11:45: Arrive in Eceabat and transfer to our restaurant to have lunch before starting the tour.
Around 13:00 – Start your tour with the first destination after meeting your tour guide.
Guided Gallipoli Tour:
- ANZAC Cove, Brighton Beach, and Beach Cemetery.
- Turkish and ANZAC trenches and tunnels.
- Memorials such as Lone Pine (Australian) and Chunuk Bair (New Zealand).
- Other key sites: Walker’s Ridge Cemetery, Baby 700, and Battleship Hill.
17:30 – The day tour ends.
Evening: Transfer to hotel in Eceabat for check-in and overnight stay in Canakkale.
Day 2 – Troy Tour – Continue to Selcuk and Kusadasi by Local Bus
Breakfast and check out from the hotel before starting your tour.
08.30 – Pick up from the hotel. You will meet your tour guide and tour group. Then, we will drive to the tour area.
Guided Troy Ancient City Tour:
- Trojan Horse: A replica of the wooden horse used in the Trojan War as a trick to conquer Troy.
- 3200-Year-Old City Walls: Ancient defensive walls from the Troy VI and VII periods, showcasing the city’s architecture.
- Temple of Athena: A sacred temple dedicated to Athena, goddess of wisdom and war.
- Roman Baths: Public baths from the Roman era, highlighting advanced engineering and social culture.
- Sanctuary (Sacrificial Altars): A religious site used for sacrifices to honor the gods.
- Odeon: A small ancient theater for music and performances, reflecting cultural life.
- Scaean Gate: A main gate of Troy, linked to the legend of the Trojan Horse.
- Megaron House: A rectangular palace or administrative building of the ancient city.
The tour ends around 11:30 am. At the end of the Troia ancient city tour, bus transportation to Ephesus via Izmir.
It will take about 7 hours to reach your next destination. Upon arrival to Ephesus transfer to your hotel. Check into the hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi/Selcuk.
Day 3 – Pamukkale Tour
08:00 am – Pick up from the hotel after breakfast and meet with the local tour guide. Drive to Pamukkale for 2,5 hours for the Pamukkale Calcium Terraces & Ancient City of Hierapolis tour.
Guided Ancient Hierapolis & Pamukkale Tour:
- Calcium Terraces (Pamukkale Travertines): The terraces are dazzling white and resemble frozen waterfalls, often referred to as “Cotton Castle” (Pamukkale in Turkish). You can walk barefoot on designated sections of the terraces to experience the warm, mineral-rich waters.
- Hierapolis Ancient City: An ancient Greco-Roman city founded in the 2nd century BC, built near the thermal springs of Pamukkale. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hierapolis was known for its healing centers and luxurious baths. The key places of the ancient city are the Necropolis, Roman Bath, Domitian Gate, Byzantine Gate, and moreover.
- Optional Thermal Pool Experience: The thermal waters, believed to have healing properties, maintain a temperature of around 35°C (95°F) year-round. If you plan to swim, bringing swimwear is essential, as entry to the pool requires an additional fee.
Around 16:00 – Your Pamukkale tour ends.
At the end of the Pamukkale tour, transfer you back to the hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi/Selcuk.
Day 4 – Full-Day Ephesus Tour & Flight to Cappadocia
Breakfast & Check out from the hotel before leaving for your tour.
08.30 – You will meet your tour guide and your tour group in your hotel and then we will transfer you to the tour area.
Guided Ancient City of Ephesus & Virgin Mary Tour:
Temple of Artemis: Once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis was a grand structure dedicated to Artemis, the goddess of fertility and hunting. Although only a few remnants remain today, it is an iconic symbol of ancient architectural achievement.
Ancient City of Ephesus: One of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world, showcasing advanced urban planning and architecture.
Key highlights include:
- Library of Celsus: A stunning façade built to honor Tiberius Julius Celsus, housing thousands of scrolls.
- Great Theatre: A massive amphitheater that seated up to 25,000 people for performances and public meetings.
- Marble Streets: Lined with columns, shops, and public buildings, offering a glimpse into daily life in ancient Ephesus.

Isabey Mosque: A fine example of Seljuk architecture, built in 1375 by the architect Ali bin Mushimish.
Around 16:00 – Your Ephesus tour ends.
At the end of the tour, transfer you to Izmir Airport to fly to Cappadocia. (According to the availability whether you will fly directly or you will fly through Istanbul.)
Upon your arrival at the airport in Cappadocia, our travel team will be holding your name sign to pick up and transfer to the hotel. Check into the hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5 – Cappadocia Red Tour
Additional activity 1: Hot air balloon flight is highly recommended; however, please note that the cost of the balloon tour is not included in this package. You can add it through the extra activities section when making your reservation.
Additional activity 2: To capture breathtaking photos with hot air balloons, join a Cappadocia hot air balloon watching tour.
Breakfast at the hotel before your tour.
09.30 – You will be picked up from the hotel and meet your professional local tour guide to begin your fully guided tour of North Cappadocia.
Guided Cappadocia Red Tour:
- Devrent Valley: Famous for its unique “fairy chimneys”, and natural rock formations shaped by centuries of erosion. Some formations resemble animals or objects, making it a great spot for imaginative sightseeing.
- Pasabagları Open Air Museum (Monk’s Valley): Known for its mushroom-shaped pinnacles, this valley features unique rock formations.
- Avanos Town: A charming town by the Red River (Kızılırmak), known for its traditional pottery-making. Lunch is served at a local restaurant here.
- Zelve Open Air Museum: A historical site featuring rock-cut churches, monasteries, and homes used by Christians centuries ago. It provides insights into early Christian life in Cappadocia.
- Uchisar Castle (Exterior Visiting): A natural rock fortress offering panoramic views of Cappadocia. It is the highest point in the region and has been used historically as a lookout.
Around 16:00 – The tour ends. The next stop will be your hotel. You will be transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia for check-in. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 6 – Cappadocia Yellow Tour & Flight Back to Istanbul
You will have breakfast at the hotel & Check out from the hotel in Cappadocia.
09:30 – You will be collected right from your hotel by our travel team for a fully guided South of Cappadocia sightseeing tour.
Guided Cappadocia Yellow Tour:
- Red Valley: Explore rock-cut churches and hike approximately 5 km through the beautiful Gulludere (Rose) Valley.
- Cavusin Village: Visit this historical village, known for its ancient houses and churches used by early Christian clergymen.
- Pigeon Valley: See the stunning valley dotted with pigeon houses carved into the rocks, historically used for pigeon farming.
- Ozkonak Underground City: Visit Ozkonak Underground City where early Christians hid from invaders. Explore the intricate system of tunnels, living spaces, kitchens, storage rooms, and ventilation shafts.
- Ortahisar Castle (Exterior Visiting): Visit this impressive rock-carved fortress, which offers panoramic views of Cappadocia. Known as one of the region’s iconic landmarks and has historically been used for defense and storage.
Around 16:00 – The tour ends. The next stop will be the airport to fly back to Istanbul.
At the end of the tour, transfer to the airport for your flight to Istanbul.
19.40 – Flight to Istanbul from Cappadocia. (Please note that flight departure time can change according to availability)
20.50 – Arrival back to Istanbul. You will meet us at the airport in Istanbul and we transfer you from the airport to your hotel.
