7 Days Ancient Wonders of Turkey Tour from Istanbul

Day 1 – Fly from Istanbul to Adıyaman & Mount Nemrut Tour

05:00 – You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul and transferred to the airport for your domestic flight. Pick-up time may vary slightly depending on flight arrangements.
09:30 – Departure from Istanbul to Adıyaman. Flight schedules may change based on airline availability.
11:00 – Arrival at Adıyaman Airport. Meet your licensed local tour guide and begin your journey through the ancient Commagene lands.

• Karakus Tumulus: Visit the royal burial site built for the female members of the Commagene dynasty.
• Arsameia Ancient City: Explore rock reliefs, inscriptions, and sacred tunnels of this former royal center.
• Cendere Bridge: See one of the best-preserved Roman bridges still standing today.
• Mount Nemrut: Ascend to the summit and admire the monumental stone statues and panoramic views.

17:00 – After the tour, drive to Sanlıurfa and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Sanlıurfa.

Day 2 – Gobeklitepe & Sanlıurfa City Tour

After breakfast, depart for a full-day exploration of Şanlıurfa’s most important archaeological and spiritual sites.

• Göbeklitepe Archaeological Site: Discover the world’s oldest known temple complex, dating back over 11,000 years.
• Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum: See remarkable artifacts from Göbeklitepe, Harran, and surrounding ancient settlements.
• Balıklıgöl & Old Town: Visit the sacred Pool of Abraham and walk through the historic old city.

17:00 – Return to your hotel. Overnight in Sanlıurfa.

Day 3 – Flight to Izmir & Transfer to Kusadası

After breakfast and hotel check-out, you will have free time in Şanlıurfa to relax or explore at your own pace until your transfer time.
At the scheduled time, our staff will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Sanlıurfa Airport for your domestic flight.

Flight to Izmir: Travel from Şanlıurfa to Izmir by domestic flight, either directly or with a connection via Istanbul, depending on availability on the travel date.
Arrival in Izmir: Upon landing at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, you will be welcomed by our transfer team at the exit and transferred comfortably to your hotel in Kusadası.

Free Time in Kusadası: After check-in, the remainder of the day is free. You may stroll along the waterfront, enjoy the Aegean atmosphere, or simply unwind at your hotel.
Overnight stay in Kusadası.

Day 4 – Ephesus Ancient City Tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kuşadası and transferred to the Ephesus tour area for a guided visit to one of the most important ancient cities of the classical world.

• Ephesus Ancient City:
  Walk through one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Mediterranean. Explore the ancient marble streets, see the iconic Library of Celsus, the Grand Theater, and learn how Ephesus once functioned as a major commercial, religious, and cultural center of the Roman era.
• House of the Virgin Mary:
  Visit the peaceful shrine located on the slopes of Bülbül Mountain, believed to be the final home of the Virgin Mary. Surrounded by nature, this sacred site offers a calm and spiritual atmosphere and is an important pilgrimage destination for visitors from around the world.
• Temple of Artemis (ruins):
  See the remains of the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Although only foundations remain today, your guide will explain its original grandeur and historical significance.

16:00 – After the tour, return to your hotel in Kusadası. Overnight in Kusadası.

Day 5 – Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour

Depart early in the morning for a full-day guided tour to Pamukkale, one of Turkey’s most iconic natural and historical destinations.

• Pamukkale Travertines:
  Walk along the famous white limestone terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down the hillside. The unique landscape, often called the “Cotton Castle,” is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most photographed places in Turkey.
• Hierapolis Ancient City:
  Explore the ancient spa city built above the travertines. Visit the ruins of Roman baths, ancient streets, and the necropolis while learning how Hierapolis became a major center for healing and wellness in antiquity.
• Cleopatra’s Thermal Pool:
  Enjoy optional swimming in the warm thermal waters among submerged ancient columns. This experience is optional and available for an additional entrance fee.

After completing the visits, return transfer to Kusadası.
Overnight in Kusadası.

Day 6 – Leisure Day in Kusadası

This day is free for you to enjoy Kusadası at your own pace.

• Free Time: Relax at your hotel or explore the town and Aegean coastline.
• Optional Activities: Optional tours and experiences can be arranged upon request.

Overnight in Kusadası.

Day 7 – Flight to Istanbul & End of the Tour

Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the morning is free. You may relax at your hotel, explore the surroundings, or do some last-minute shopping until your scheduled transfer time. At the appropriate time, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Izmir Airport for your return flight.
Domestic Flight: Fly from Izmir to Istanbul. Flight schedules may vary depending on airline availability on the travel date.
Arrival in Istanbul: Arrival at either Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökcen Airport, depending on flight availability. Arrival airport may change accordingly.
Hotel Transfer: Upon arrival, our transfer team will greet you at the airport exit holding a name sign and transfer you to your hotel in Istanbul.
End of Tour: This concludes your 7 Days Tour Package.
