Remarks
- If your next destination is not Bodrum, please note that we can also provide your bus or flight ticket to other cities of Turkiye instead of return back to Bodrum
- Airport transfers in Bodrum can be added with an additional fee, please ask us if you would like to add.
- You will use connection flights between Bodrum and Cappadocia because there is no direct flight between these 2 places.
- The order of the tour itinerary may vary in order to avoid congestion.
- Comfortable shoes and a hat is recommended as shade is limited in summer time.
- You are kindly requested to present yourself at the departure point 30 minutes prior the pre-advised departure time.
- Exact pickup times will be given at the time of booking.
Bodrum to Cappadocia Tour
Day 1: Flight from Bodrum to Cappadocia via Istanbul
Please make your way to Bodrum Airport for your flight and be ready there at least 1,5 hours ago.
You will fly from Bodrum to Kayseri or Nevsehir with a connection in Istanbul.
At Cappadocia airport, our travel team will welcome you with a name sign. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in the center of Cappadocia. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Note: Direct flights from Bodrum to Cappadocia are not available. All flights will connect through Istanbul.
Day 2: North Cappadocia Tour
Additional activity 1: Hot air balloon flight is highly recommended; however, please note that the cost of the balloon tour is not included in this package. You can add it through the extra activities section when making your reservation.
Additional activity 2: To capture breathtaking photos with hot air balloons, join a Cappadocia hot air balloon watching tour.
Breakfast at the hotel before departing for the tour.
09:30 am – Our travel team will pick you up from the hotel after breakfast and then, you will start your second day by meeting your tour group and tour guide.
North of Cappadocia Tour
- Your guided tour begins with a visit to Devrent Valley, where you’ll see the iconic “fairy chimneys” of Cappadocia.
- Next, we’ll stop at Pasabaglari, also known as Monk’s Valley, to admire its unique mushroom-shaped rock formations.
- From there, we’ll drive to the charming town of Avanos, famous for its pottery. Here, we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
- After lunch, we’ll explore the historic Zelve Open Air Museum, home to ancient rock-cut churches and centuries-old Christian settlements.
- As the day comes to an end, we’ll visit the famous Uchisar Castle, a natural fortress offering stunning views of the region.
Finally, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Cappadocia for an overnight stay.
Day 3: South Cappadocia Tour – Flight to Bodrum or Istanbul
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out.
09:30 – You will be collected right from your hotel by our travel team for a fully guided South of Cappadocia sightseeing tour.
South of Cappadocia Tour
- Your guided tour begins with a visit to Red Valley, where you’ll explore rock-cut churches and enjoy a peaceful 3.5 km hike through the beautiful Gulludere (Rose) Valley.
- Next, we’ll visit Cavusin Village, famous for its historic homes and churches built by Christian clergymen.
- Around noon, we’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant, enjoying traditional dishes.
- After lunch, we’ll visit Pigeon Valley, known for its unique landscapes and ancient pigeon houses.
- The tour continues with a visit to the fascinating Ozkonak Underground City, where early Christians once hid from Roman armies and invaders. Discover its ingenious design, including ventilation shafts, traps, and hidden rooms.
- Before returning, we’ll make a stop to admire the Ortahisar Castle from the outside, a natural rock fortress offering incredible views of the surrounding area.
Around 16:00 / 17:00 – As the tour ends, you’ll be transferred to the airport in Cappaodcia (either Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport) for your flight back to Bodrum or Istanbul, depending on your next destination.
