Bodrum to Ephesus and Pamukkale Tours

Day 1 – Local Bus to Ephesus from Bodrum & Ephesus Tour

Morning Travel:
06:00: Begin your bus journey from Bodrum to Söke, approximately 2 hours with one break en route. (Note: Bus departure times may vary depending on the tour date.)
08:00: Arrive at Söke bus station, where you will be greeted by a guide holding a sign with your name. Join your group and meet your local tour guide.

Exploring Ephesus: Depart for the ancient city of Ephesus.
Visit iconic landmarks, including:

  • The Library of Celsus
  • The Great Amphitheater
  • Marble Street
  • The Gate of Augustus
  • The Temple of Artemis

Immerse yourself in the rich history and majestic beauty of this ancient city as you explore its monuments, sculptures, and temples. Experience the historical significance of Ephesus and envision life during its peak.

Visit to the Virgin Mary House:

  • Continue to the Virgin Mary House, nestled between Ephesus and Selçuk.
  • Learn about its significance as the believed last residence of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Evening Transfer:
After completing the Ephesus tour, transfer to your hotel in Kusadasi/Selcuk.

Day 2 – Pamukkale Tour & Local Bus to Bodrum  

Morning Activities:
Enjoy an open buffet breakfast and check out of your hotel in Pamukkale.
08:00 AM: Depart for Pamukkale (“Cotton Castle”), a breathtaking natural wonder known for its white calcium terraces and hot spring pools. It takes about 2,5 hours with a break on the way.

Pamukkale Exploration:

  • Walk on the stunning white terraces and take in the beautiful views.
  • Optional: Swim in Cleopatra’s Thermal Pool for an extra charge. Please bring your swimsuits if you are keen on swimming.
  • Visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, including:
  1. Bathhouses
  2. The Necropolis
  3. Amphitheater
  4. Tomb of St. Philip
  5. Town walls
  • Learn about the history and significance of Hierapolis from your guide.

Evening Return:
The tour ends at 16:00  and then transfers to the Pamukkale (Denizli) bus station.
17:30: Depart by bus to Bodrum (approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes). (Note: Bus departure times may vary depending on the tour date.)
21:45: Arrive at Bodrum Bus Station, marking the end of the tour.
