Ephesus Day Tour Itinerary
- 04:00 am: You will be picked up from your hotel for the Ephesus Day Tour and transferred to the airport.
(Note: Pickup time may vary depending on flight departure availability.) - 07:00 am: Flight from Istanbul to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport.
(Note: Flight times are subject to availability.) - 08:10 am: Arrival at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Our travel team will be waiting to welcome you with a name sign at the arrivals area. After meeting the team, you will be transferred to our office in Ephesus.
Morning Activities
- Meet other tour participants and your local guide. Together, you will visit the Ancient City of Ephesus. Highlights include:
- Walking along the historic marble streets.
- Visiting landmarks like the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Trajan Fountain, and the Great Theater, where St. Paul preached.
- After exploring the ancient city, the tour continues with a visit to the Isabey Mosque, a beautiful example of Seljuk architecture.
Lunch Break
- Enjoy a traditional Turkish lunch at a local restaurant. This is a perfect time to relax and savor authentic flavors.
Afternoon Activities
- Then, continue to the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be where Mary spent her final years.
- End the sightseeing portion of the tour with a visit to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Return to Istanbul
- The tour ends around 4 pm and transfer you to Izmir Airport for flying back to Istanbul.
- 19:30: Flight back to Istanbul from Izmir.
