Tour Itinerary & Highlights
- Imagination Valley (Devrent Valley)
- This surreal valley is filled with naturally formed rocks that resemble animals and people. For example, you may see shapes like camels, dolphins, or even human figures. It’s a perfect place for creativity and photography.
- Paşabagları Open Air Museum (Monks Valley)
- Here you will walk among tall fairy chimneys, some with double and triple caps. In the past, monks carved living spaces inside these rock formations. The peaceful atmosphere makes this valley especially special.
- Zelve Open Air Museum
- Zelve offers a deep look into Cappadocia’s past. You’ll explore former cave homes, churches, and tunnels that once made up a village. This area provides both historical and cultural insights.
- Avanos & the Red River (Kızılırmak)
- Avanos is a charming town by the Red River — the longest river in Turkey. The red clay from the river has supported a pottery tradition that dates back thousands of years.
- Pottery Workshop in Avanos
- You will visit a local pottery studio and watch skilled artisans create handmade ceramics using ancient techniques. If you’d like, you may also try shaping clay yourself!
- Uchisar Castle (Panoramic Photo Stop)
- This is the highest point in Cappadocia. You’ll stop for a panoramic view and take great photos of the surrounding valleys. Though you won’t go inside, the view alone is worth it.
- Leather Workshop Visit
- At a nearby shop, you’ll observe how leather products are made using traditional craftsmanship. It’s also a great place to shop for souvenirs.
- Ozkonak Underground City
- Finally, you will go underground and explore the ancient city of Özkonak. Narrow tunnels, secret rooms, and air shafts tell the story of people who once hid and lived below the surface to escape danger.
