Kusadasi or Selcuk to Istanbul via Ephesus and Gallipoli Tours
Day 1 – Kusadasi / Selcuk to Ephesus Tour & Intercity Bus to Canakkale
Morning pick-up:
The day begins at 08:30 (Pick-up time depends on your hotel location) when our travel team picks you up from your hotel in Kusadasi or Selçuk for a fully guided tour of Ephesus.
Ephesus Tour Highlights
- The first stop is the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This site offers a glimpse into a once-glorious monument of the ancient world.
- Next, you’ll explore the ancient city of Ephesus, the most well-preserved Greco-Roman city globally. Highlights include the Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre, and marble streets lined with historical structures. After soaking in the history of this remarkable city, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
- Then, the tour continues with a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred site believed to be the final home of Mary, the mother of Jesus. This revered place attracts visitors of both Christian and Muslim faiths.
- Lastly, you’ll visit the Isabey Mosque, a fine example of 14th-century Seljuk architecture.
End of the tour:
After the tour, you’ll transfer to the bus station for a comfortable, air-conditioned ride to Canakkale. Departing at 17:15, the journey takes you through scenic routes, arriving in Canakkale by midnight.

Day 2 – Gallipoli Tour & Drive to Istanbul
Morning Pick-up:
Begin your day with an open buffet breakfast at the hotel. You’ll have some free time in the morning to explore Canakkale before the tour begins.
At 11:30, you’ll be picked up and taken to the ferry station for a short ride across the Dardanelles to the Gallipoli Peninsula.
Lunch:
After arriving, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Eceabat before embarking on a fully guided tour of Gallipoli.
Gallipoli Tour Highlights
- First, ANZAC Cove: Landing site of Australian and New Zealand forces in 1915.
- Then, Brighton Beach: A key strategic location during the Gallipoli Campaign.
- Afterward, Lone Pine Australian Memorial: Honors Australian soldiers who fell in the Lone Pine battle.
- Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial: Commemorates New Zealand forces’ significant role in the campaign.

End of the tour:
The tour ends at 17:30, after which you’ll depart for Istanbul. Arrive around 22:00, where a transfer to your centrally located hotel awaits.
