We will pick you up from your hotel for a fully guided North Cappadocia tour. (Pick-up time depends on your hotel’s location.) Meet your local guide and other group members to begin the journey.
Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley)
Start the tour at the famous Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley. See fairy chimneys with unique shapes like camel rocks and mushrooms. Enjoy a pleasant walk among these fascinating rock formations.
Paşabağları Open Air Museum (Monks Valley)
Next, visit Paşabağ, also called Monks Valley. This area is known for its fairy chimneys with three caps. Learn about St. Simeon, a hermit who lived here in the 5th century.
Avanos – Heart of Handicrafts
Drive to Avanos, a charming town famous for pottery and ceramics, a tradition dating back 4,000 years to the Hittites. The Red River (Kızılırmak) flows through this town, adding to its charm.
Göreme Town and Panoramic View
Visit Göreme, historically called Korama, Avcılar, and Maccan. Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the town and its surroundings.
Zelve Open-Air Museum
Explore Zelve Open-Air Museum, which served as a missionary school from the 2nd to the 12th centuries. Discover rock-carved churches and ancient living spaces.
Uçhisar Castle (from the outside)
Visit Uçhisar, a small village with a large castle once used by Christians. It’s one of three castles in the region, along with Ortahisar and Ürgüp.
