5 Days Cappadocia Pamukkale and Ephesus Tours
Day 1: Fly to Cappadocia from Istanbul & Guided North Cappadocia Tour
04:00 – You will be collected from your hotel in Istanbul and transferred to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. (The pickup time may vary depending on the availability.)
07:00 – Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia (Flight departure time may change according to season and availability)
08:25 – Arrival at Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport. Our staff will pick you up with your name sign at the airport and transfer you to Cappadocia. In Cappadocia, you are going to meet your professional local tour guide to begin your guided tour of North Cappadocia.
Highlights of the North of Cappadocia Tour
- Begin your journey in the magical Devrent Valley, home to Cappadocia’s iconic fairy chimneys.
- Continue to Pasabaglari and Monk’s Valley to marvel at the unique mushroom-shaped rock formations. Next, visit the charming town of Avanos which is famous for its pottery workshop, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
- Afterward, take in the breathtaking panoramic views of Göreme and explore the Zelve Open Air Museum, featuring ancient rock-cut churches and Christian settlements dating back centuries.
- Conclude your tour with a visit to the legendary Uçhisar Castle, a natural wonder and historic landmark, before heading back to your hotel.
The next stop will be your hotel. You will be transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia for check-in. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 2: Fully Guided South Cappadocia Tour
Additional activity 1: Hot air balloon flight is highly recommended; however, please note that the cost of the balloon tour is not included in this package. You can add it through the extra activities section when making your reservation.
Additional activity 2: To capture breathtaking photos with hot air balloons, join a Cappadocia hot air balloon watching tour.

09:30 – You will be collected right from your hotel by our travel team for a fully guided South of Cappadocia sightseeing tour.
Highlights of the South of Cappadocia Tour
Start your day with a briefing from your local guide about the exciting activities ahead.
- The journey begins at the Red Valley, where you can explore iconic rock-cut churches and enjoy a scenic 5 km hike through the stunning Güllüdere (Rose) Valley.
- Next, visit the historic Çavuşin Village, renowned for its ancient houses and Christian clergy churches. Around noon, take a well-deserved break and savor a delicious meal at a local restaurant.
- After lunch, continue to the breathtaking Pigeon Valley and admire its unique landscape.
- The adventure concludes with a visit to the famous Özkonak Underground City. Explore this extraordinary refuge where early Christians once lived, featuring rooms, kitchens, barns, crop storage halls, and intricate ventilation channels designed for survival.
This will be the end of your south of Cappadocia day tour. Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 3: Fly to Izmir from Cappadocia
Breakfast & check out from the hotel.
Enjoy a free day before your transfer to Cappadocia Airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon landing at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, our travel team will warmly welcome you and provide a smooth transfer to your hotel in Kusadası.
Once checked in, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Spend the night at a comfortable hotel in Kusadası / Selcuk.
Important Note: If there is no direct flight on your travel date then we use a flight from Cappadocia to Izmir via Istanbul.
Day 4: Fully Guided Pamukkale Tour
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
07:30 am – Pick up from the hotel and meet with the local tour guide.
Ancient Hierapolis & Pamukkale Tour
Start your day with a convenient hotel pick-up, followed by a picturesque drive to Pamukkale town. Prepare to explore one of the most fascinating destinations in the world, known for its stunning geological formations and rich historical heritage. Your tour begins with a visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis. Highlights include:
Necropolis: One of Anatolia’s largest ancient cemeteries, with over 1,200 graves.
Roman Bath and Domitian Gate: Impressive examples of Roman architecture.
Main Street and Byzantine Gate: Walk through the remains of a thriving ancient civilization.
Next, visit the iconic Calcium Terraces. These terraces, formed by warm spring water rich in calcium bicarbonate, are a natural wonder. The cascading white formations are a sight to behold and a highlight of any trip to Pamukkale.
Optional: Swim in the Ancient Spring Pool
For an additional charge, you can enjoy swimming in Pamukkale’s ancient spring pool. The thermal waters, at 35°C (102°F), are known for their relaxing and rejuvenating properties. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit if you plan to swim!
At the end of the tour, return to the hotel and Overnight in Kusadasi/Selcuk.
Day 5: Fully Guided Ephesus Tour & Fly Back to Istanbul
Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel and check out from the hotel before the tour.
08:30 am – Our Travel team will collect you right from the hotel for a fully guided Ephesus tour.
Ancient Ephesus & Virgin Mary House Tour
- Your journey begins at the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Though only remnants remain, this historic site offers a fascinating glimpse into its former grandeur and cultural importance in ancient times. Here, you can admire the columns and foundations that hint at its majestic past.
- Next, you’ll visit the ancient city of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world. Stroll along the marble streets lined with ancient ruins, from temples and baths to homes and shops.
- Highlights include the magnificent Library of Celsus, an architectural masterpiece, and the Great Theatre, a colossal amphitheater that once hosted dramatic performances and public gatherings.
- Followingly, head to the House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred site believed to be where the Virgin Mary spent her final days. Take a moment to explore the house and its surroundings, enjoying the serene atmosphere.
When our tour ends, we will transfer you to Denizli Airport (Pamukkale).
19:45 – Flight from Denizli to Istanbul (Please note that flight departure time can be changed according to availability)
20:55 – Arrival back in Istanbul. Our travel team will meet you at the airport and transfer you from the airport to your hotel in Istanbul.
