Remarks
- Please note that the meeting time on April 24th may change based on government announcements regarding entry times to Anzac Cove for the ceremonies.
- Kindly arrive at the pickup point 15 minutes before the scheduled time provided.
- Comfortable shoes and a hat are recommended, as shade is limited during summer.
- The tour itinerary may be adjusted to avoid congestion.
- No accommodation is provided on April 24. You will sleep under the stars at Anzac Cove, just as the ANZACs did in April 1915.
- It is recommended to bring a sleeping bag, blanket, or warm clothing to stay comfortable.
Gallipoli Anzac Day Dawn Service from Canakkale
24 April – Depart From Eceabat to Anzac Cove in Gallipoli
- 20:00 – Meet in Eceabat
Gather at the designated meeting point in Eceabat Town. From there, we will drive to Anzac Cove on the Gallipoli Peninsula. Arriving early ensures you secure a great spot to witness the dawn and the ceremonies on the next day. Upon arrival, you’ll stay overnight under the stars at Anzac Cove, enjoying the reflective and serene atmosphere of this historic site.

25 April – Dawn Service & Drive back to the Meeting Point
- 05:30 – Dawn Service at Anzac Cove
The Dawn Service begins at 5:30 AM and serves as a moving and solemn start to the day. After the service, we will walk to Lone Pine for the Australian National Ceremony, as no buses are allowed in the ceremony area. - 10:30 – Australian National Ceremony at Lone Pine
At Lone Pine, you will witness the Australian National Ceremony. Following this, we’ll walk along the main road toward Chunuk Bair for the New Zealander National Ceremony. During the walk, we’ll stop at significant sites, including:- Johnston’s Jolly, showcasing the remains of Turkish and Anzac trenches.
- Steele’s and Courtney’s Post Cemetery.
- Quinn’s Post Cemetery.
- The 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial.
- 11:30 – New Zealander National Ceremony at Chunuk Bair
The New Zealander National Ceremony at Chunuk Bair concludes the official commemorations. After the ceremony, buses will meet us at the main road to transport everyone back to Eceabat, marking the end of the Anzac Day Dawn Service journey.
