Gallipoli Anzac Day Dawn Service

Anzac day dawn service departs from Istanbul on 24 April. We directly drive to Anzac cove via Tekirdag, Kesan, Eceabat and stay under the stars at the night in Anzac Cove in Gallipoli Peninsula as the ANZAC’s did in April 1915. After Dawn service ceremonies in Gallipoli peninsula, we will drive back to Istanbul or bus portation through to Selcuk or Kusadasi (Ephesus).

24 April –
Depart From Istanbul To Gallipoli Peninsula

10:30 – 10:45 – Meet with other Gallipoli Anzac Day Dawn Service Tour participants and our travel team in front of Hagia Sophia Museum in Sultanahmet.
(Please note that the meeting time can be change due to the government announcement about entry time to Anzac Cove where the ceremonies start.)
11:00 – Drive from Istanbul for Eceabat.
(Please note that departure time may change)
We will drive to Gallipoli peninsula by comfortable luxury buses. We stop half of the way for lunch and refreshments.
16:30 – 17:00 – Upon arrive in Eceabat then we drive up to Anzac Cove in Gallipoli peninsula.
We are going to try to get there as soon as possible to get a good position for the ceremonies. When the gate opens we will get into the service area and get good position and we will spend a night in the Anzac Ceremonies Area.

25 April – Dawn Service & Drive Back To Istanbul
05:30 – Dawn Service will start in Anzac Cove
After Dawn Service Ceremony at the Anzac Cove, we will walk to Lone Pine for Australian Ceremony. There won’t be any buses in the ceremony area. That’s why we need to walk all ceremonies area.

10:30 – Australian National Ceremony at Lone Pine
After Australian National Ceremony walks on the main road to Chunuk Bair for New Zealander National Ceremony.While we are walking we will see the Johnston’s Jolly where are remains of Turkish and Anzac trenches, Steele’s and Courtney’s Post cemetery, Quinns Post Cemetery & 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial.

11:30 – New Zealander National Ceremony at Chunuk Bair
After joining all ceremonies, our buses will collect you from the road. Where you finish the last ceremony.

Afterward, drive back to Istanbul by tour buses and you will be dropped off in front of Hagia Sophia Museum in Sultanahmet old twon in Istanbul.

You are kindly requested to present yourself at the pickup point 15 minutes prior the pre-advised pickup time.
Comfortable shoes and a hat is recommended as shade is limited in summer time.
The order of the tour itinerary may vary in order to avoid congestion.
