Gallipoli Anzac Day Dawn Service From Kusadasi and Selcuk

Gallipoli Anzac Day Dawn Serice starts from Kusadasi and Selcuk by bus transportation via Izmir to Eceabat in Canakkale and ferry on the Dardanelles to Eceabat. When you arrive in Eceabat you will meet with our crew and directly drive to Anzac Cove in the peninsula. You are going to sleep out under the stars in Gallipoli Anzac Cove as the ANZAC’s did in April 1915. You will join to Dawn Services in Gallipoli peninsula on 25 April.

24th April –
Bus Transportation from Kusadasi and Selcuk to Canakkale

Your bus departs at 09:30 am from Kusadasi and Selcuk for Eceabat / Canakkale via Izmir city.
(Please not that bus departure time may change)
The bus journey takes around 7 hours. Arrival to Canakkale Eceabat and join to other groups of Anzac Day. Drive to Anzac Cove in Gallipoli peninsula, where Dawn Service Ceremony will be held. We will take a good place to join Dawn Service, we recommend you to bring heavy clothes, a sleeping bag or blanket to keep you warm. Because the weather will be cold early in the morning.

25 April – Gallipoli Dawn Service – Selcuk – Kusadasi or Istanbul
05:00 – Anzac Cove Ceremony (Dawn Service)
After the Dawn service ceremony, we will walk to Lone Pine for the Australian ceremony. Because bus transportation is not allowed in the ceremony area. That’s why we will walk uphill on the Artillery Road via Shell Green which lasts around 1 hour.
10:30 – Lone Pine Australian Service.
New Zealanders will continue on their walk from Lone Pine to the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial for the ceremony. We will walk on the main road to the Chunuk Bair, this uphill walk takes around 1 hour.
On the way, you will have a chance to see Steele’s and Courtney’s Post cemetery, Johnston’s Jolly where are remains of Turkish and Anzac trenches, Quinns Post Cemetery & 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial.
11:30 – Chunuk Bair New Zealand Service
We return back to Eceabat after Dawn Services
Depart for Istanbul or Kusadasi or Selcuk
Arrival in Istanbul or Kusadasi or Selcuk. Tour Ends.
