Discover Ephesus and Its Wonders

  1. Ephesus Ancient City
    Start your journey by entering through the Periclase Gate. From there, your guide will take you on a walk through the heart of this ancient Roman city. You will see famous landmarks like the Odeon, the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Fountain of Trajan. The Grand Theater, which could seat 24,000 people, is especially impressive. It is also where St. Paul preached to the Ephesians. Today, it hosts festivals and special events.
  2. Terrace Houses
    Next, visit the Terrace Houses on Mount Bulbul. These homes belonged to the richest families in Ephesus. Their beautiful mosaics and frescoes show how luxurious life was for the wealthy during that time.
  3. Basilica of St. John
    he Basilica of St. John, built by Emperor Justinian, stands over the tomb of St. John the Apostle. Although much of it is in ruins, you can still admire its large columns and colorful mosaics. The spot also offers amazing views of Selçuk and the nearby Temple of Artemis.
  4. Temple of Artemis
    The Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, is another highlight of the tour. Though only a few remains are left today, it still attracts visitors with its fascinating history and cultural importance.
  5. House of Virgin Mary
    Finally, visit the peaceful House of the Virgin Mary on Mount Bulbul. It is believed that St. John brought Mary here for safety after the crucifixion of Jesus. She lived in this quiet cottage until her death.
